Equipment:

My current camera set-up is a Canon EOS 1Ds Mk II & Canon EOS 1D Mk II. I switched from film to digital in August 2003 and am finding it far more rewarding with greater prospects for the future. In my kit bag I have a 500mm F4L IS (Image Stabiliser), 180mm F3.5 Macro, 70-200mm F2.8L IS, 24-70mm F2.8L and 17-40mm F4 zoom lenses. I also regularly use 1.4x and 2x converters and a Gitzo GT3540LS tripod with fluid Manfrotto 501 head.

Digital Reproduction and Printing:

To ensure quick loading of the pages I am reducing the size of the files to fit exactly in the space provided, which currently stands at 600x400 dpi. I use an Epson Stylus Pro 3800 Ultrachrome K3 ink printer and most of my work is printed onto 'Art Classic' or Epson Archival Matte paper.

My Aims:

As I progress I intend to build up a collection of wildlife and landscape images throughout the seasons. My main focus is birds but I am beginning to experiment with butterflies and dragonflies and anything else that catches my eye.
