Smart Images Newsletter - November 2007

www.smartimages.co.uk

It has been a fantastic year travelling in 2007 and I have managed to cram in more wildlife photography trips this year than ever before so it has been worth all the sweat and toil. I spent a month in Lesbos photographing birds on their annual migration in April and am well on the way to completing my forthcoming talk on 'A Birding Migration'. Trips to Vancouver Island, Madagascar and UK based ones have produced some great new material.

Smart Bean Bags
I am pleased to announce the launch of my new Smart Bean Bags in September 2007. Smart Bean Bags are handmade in Somerset and are a fantastic accessory if you are interested in photography or bird watching. For example 95% of my images taken in Lesbos this year were done so using a bean bag. Please see more details on my website. They can be purchased either directly from my website using Paypal or instead email me with your order. They certainly would make the ideal Christmas present! Take a look at the Bean Bags page.

Desk Calendars
Following on from the success of my desk calendars over the past 3 years I have decided to run three different calendars for 2008 - Grizzly Bears of Alaska, Birds of Lesbos and British Butterflies. The Grizzly Bear images are completely new for 2008 and most of which have not been seen before. Take a look at the Desk Calendars page.  Here is a sample from each calendar:

Greeting Cards

I have twelve different designs which include some of my favourite images taken over the last few years. Take a look at the Wildlife Greetings Cards page. Here are a couple of examples:

Wildlife Talks
Over the next 14 months I shall be presenting many talks to wildlife and photography groups around the country. Please come along or invite me to your local group. Check out where I'll be giving Wildlife Talks.

A Thank You
And to finish my first Newsletter I'd like to say a big thank you to all the support that I have received and of course to all my very valued customers. I hope everyone will continue to enjoy browsing my website and hearing me ramble on day after day about wildlife!

Best wishes Oliver Smart
